讲座人介绍：

Dr. Stephen G. Evans is a Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada where he teaches Disasters and Natural Hazards and Engineering Geology. His research interests are catastrophic landslides, catastrophic processes in the glacial environment, the formation and behaviour of natural dams, natural hazards and disasters, georisk, remote sensing, and urban damage systems in conflict and catastrophe.
