报告简介：

 The title of the lecture is "INSTANTANEOUS POLARIZATION ANALYSIS OF AMBIENT NOISE RECORDINGS INSITE RESPONSE INVESTIGATIONS". Prof. Vincenzo Del Gaudio will present a new method of ambient noise analysis for site response investigations, based on instantaneous polarization analysis. Also he proposed this new method in an article in press at Geophysical Journal International. He will illustrate this methodology and first tests of its application to the area of Caramanico.

报告人简介：

 Vincenzo Del Gaudioas: Research Geophysicist at the Department of Earth and Geoenvironmental Sciences of the University of Bari "Aldo Moro" -Italy, and as Aggregate Professor at the Course of Geological and Geophysical Sciences of the same university, where he teaches "Seismic Risk" and "Geophysical Potential Fields".

 Current research:

Time-probabilistic evaluations of earthquake-induced landslide hazard at regional scale;

Seismicity and seismic hazard of Southern Italy at regional scale;

Site effects on landslide-prone slopes;

Application of geophysical survey techniques (microgravimetry, geoelectrics, seismic prospection) to the study of unstable slopes and karstic areas;

In situ determination of ground parameters from surface wave analysis.
