Jon Gluyas，1981年博士毕业于利物浦大学，1981-2009年于BP石油公司勘探部进行油气开发研究工作，2009年任教于英国杜伦大学。现为英国杜伦大学地球科学系教授，博士生导师，知识交流中心主任，伦敦地质学会委员，曾任英国CCS研究中心发展委员会主席，大不列颠油气勘探协会主席等职务。在Nature等顶尖学术期刊发表学术论文60余篇，出版专著1部（Petroleum Geoscience），编著4部，并起草编著UK Oil and Gas Fields。曾担任Terra Nava、Petroleum Geoscience等期刊副主编和主编。获伦敦地质学位2000年Aberconway Medal奖章。John Gluyas教授主要从事碎屑岩沉积储层研究、二氧化碳捕获与地质贮存以及地热资源的研究。
