报告人简介：

Rafael Jimenez is Full Professor at the Civil Engineering School of the Technical University of Madrid, Spain. He completed his PhD at the University of California at Berkeley (USA). He has also worked at Imperial College London (UK) and was visiting researcher at the University of Adelaide (Australia). He is currently a member of the Editorial Boards of Computers and Geotechnics and Geotechnique. He has a strong research background on the development and application of statistical and reliability methods to geotechnical problems related to his main areas or research: slope stability, foundations, and tunneling.
