报告人简介：
Dr. Fran Matin，教育学博士，毕业于英国剑桥大学、考文垂大学，现任教于英国埃克塞特大学教育学院，博士生导师。致力于跨文化交际学，语言与文化等方面研究，积累了丰富的科研经验。在英国、美国等国家的学术期刊发表数十篇学术论文，出版专著多部，受邀参加国际学术会议并发表论文演讲10余次，主持12项国家、省级科研项目，获得相关科研奖4项，开设多门跨文化交际类课程。因在教育科研领域取得的卓越成就，被评为2006年度教育科研先进工作者。
Dr. Fran received her Doctor’s degree of education from Cambridge University in UK. She is currently a supervisor of ph. D students in Faculty of Education, University of Exeter and teaches courses on language and culture. In addition, she has been invited to participate in international academic conferences and given paper presentations over 10 times. Dr. Fran is committed to studies on cross-cultural communication, language and culture etc., gaining rich scientific research experience. She has published a number of monographs and dozens of academic papers had been in British, American academic journals, presided over 12 national and provincial scientific research projects, and has been recognized 4 education and related research awards. Owing to her outstanding achievements in the field of education, she was named advanced worker on education scientific research in 2006.
